Let's create something great together.
Here’s a breakdown of the services I offer. As an (UX) designer who can code, I also see myself as a problem-solver, making the complicated simple.
I approach every project with a combination of, strategy, design and technology.
Let's work together
Whether you need a redesign of your outdated website or are looking for something completely new, every website I design is a one-in-a-kind product, customized to your individual needs and based on extensive research.
My web services range from strategy and design to development and technical maintenance. All websites that I create are developed from scratch - without using existing themes - and come with a flexible and easy-to-use CMS.
A brand strategy is your long-term plan to identify your audience and how you want to communicate and engage with them. I will lead you through an extensive branding workshop to find the answers to all questions that will create your individual strategy.
Once we have determined your brand strategy, we can move on to your brand identity. This phase is all about bringing your strategy and its elements to life: your brand name, tagline, colors, tone of voice, typeface as well as a logo and its variations.
Storytelling helps you to communicate your business' message clearer and keep potential customers engaged with your business and services. Part of that is not only copywriting but also photography, videography and other visuals.
As a project manager, I will be the link between the client, partners and other internal team members, allowing us to achieve meaningful collaboration, drive better results as well as successfully execute the project.
Web Design + Development
Whether you’re a start-up, an established business or simply need a website for your next project, we will closely collaborate to create a website that speaks to your customer's emotions and will elevate your brand.
Every website I design is a one-in-a-kind product, customized to your individual needs. It will come with a purposeful and long lasting design, an engaging user experience, a responsive design for desktop, smartphones and tablets as well as an easy-to-use content management system (Webflow or WordPress), so you can quickly update the content yourself. I will take care of the full package: from strategy and design over coding and testing to implementing and technical maintance.
What technology/software are you working with?
I develop WordPress and Webflow websites. Both are very powerful content management systems with different advantages and disadvantages.
WordPress is one of the most popular, free, open-source content management system written in PHP. It powers more than 30% of the web, from brand new bloggers to the world’s biggest brands. A WordPress CMS is easy to set up for developers and the backend is easy to understand for non-developers, allowing you to quickly update the content (like text, images, etc.) yourself.
Webflow is a web design tool as well as a hosting platform and CMS all in one. It is even more user-friendly than WordPress when it comes to updating and editing your website’s content. Additionally, the website maintenance time and cost is extremely low, as Webflow is not an open-source CMS and also does not rely on any type of plugins, like WordPress does. It is also easier to develop in Webflow, therefore, making the overall cost of a Webflow website lower than a WordPress Website.
I will assess your project needs during our non-obligation discovery call and can then make a recommendation on which CMS would be the best solution for your website.
No matter which CMS I will recommend for your website, I will always design and develop a custom theme. I will not use pre-build themes that are available to purchase on the internet.
Can I change the content of my website myself?
Yes, the websites I develop come with an easy to use content management system (WordPress or Webflow), allowing you to update the content of your website yourself.
During the discovery phase, I will assess your needs in terms of the backend usability and website functionality. For example, will you only need to update and edit the existing content of your website or do you need to be able to add new sections and pages as well?
Once I know more about your project, I will recommend either the Webflow or WordPress CMS and develop the backend specifically to your individual needs.
Do you optimize websites for mobile and tablet screens?
Yes, all of my websites are mobile optimized with a responsive design for smartphones and tablets, fitting to all screen sizes.
Do you optimize websites from an SEO perspective?
SEO is a very complex and comprehensive topic. There are multiple elements that will determine your ranking in Google. From a technical perspective, I will make sure that your website is optimized in terms of: image optimization, cache control, clean urls, structure, indexing, meta tags, code quality, site speed, heading and subheadinghierarchy, sitemap as well as mobile optimization.
I do not optimized websites in terms of contents and keywords. Frequently uploading new, engaging content is the key to rank well over time. In general, SEO is not only a complex topic but also one that needs time and consistent effort.
How long does it take to design and build a website?
This will largely depend on the amount of pages of your website and needed functionality. For a normal introductory website of 5 pages (Home, About us, Services, References and Contact page), I usually suggest the following timeline:
1. Discovery Phase: 1 - 2 Weeks
2. Design Phase: 2 - 4 Weeks
3. Development Phase: 3 - 4 Weeks
Do you sell hosting and domains
No, I don’t sell my own hosting and/or domain plans. But I am happy to give you recommendations and will also set up the website for you.
Do you offer website support and maintenance?
Yes, I do offer website maintenance and support contracts. Especially for a WordPress Website, it is recommended to update it on a quarterly basis to ensure your site is running smooth and secure as on its first day.

Brand Strategy + Brand identity
A business can have the best products or services, but it won’t survive if it doesn’t have a strong and consistent brand strategy. A brand strategy differentiates yourself from your competition and determines what people think, feel, and say about you. It’s an emotional experience to attract the right customers and goes beyond your colors and logo.
I will take you on the journey to become a purpose-driven company, so you can truly understand who you are and why you do what you do to convey your message is in the strongest possible way.
Why is branding important? Isn't my logo enough?
A branding is so much more than just a logo and some colors. I would even say that businesses who don't have a well thought through branding will likely not last in the long-term. A branding includes your company's individual strategy and branding elements:
Who is your audience? How do you want to reach them? What kind of emotions do you want to evoke? What are your services and/or products? And even more important, why are you doing what you're doing? What's your purpose?
These are just some of the questions you should ask yourself when you start a business. And the answers to these questions are also what will form your brand strategy and then also your brand elements, such as your logo, colors, typography etc.
Branding is a very complex and emotional topic that will determine how you reach and attract your target audience and even more important, how you engage with them in the long-term. Your branding is basically your ambassador, how people will immediately connect your products/services with your company and how you position yourself in the market.
How long does it take to build a brand?
The timeframe for creating your brand strategy and identity will of course depend on several individual factors. However, based on my experience, it usually takes about 6 - 8 weeks to work through the conceptual phase and then design the different elements of your corporate identity.
A close collaboration between me and the client is essential for creating a successful branding that you are satisfied with. While I will of course lead you through every step, it is a very personal and emotional experience and it requires a good amount of your time as well.
What are the fundamental components I need for a successful brand?
There are multiple elements that belong to a successful branding:
1. Brand Strategy: What's your company's personality? What are you products and/or services? Why are you doing what you are doing, or what's your purpose? What are your values? What's your tone of voice when communicating your message? What kind of emotions do you want to evoke with your audience? These are just some questions that we will work through together to form your brand strategy.
2. Brand Identity: Based on the strategy that we built in the conceptional phase, we will now create the different elements of your brand identity that include your logo, tagline, colors, typography, photography and more.
Why do I need a full discovery phase to create a Brand identity (or rebrand)?
The discovery, or conceptual, phase is likely the most important step in the process of creating your personal brand strategy and identity.
During an extensive workshop I will lead you through several questions and exercises, some of which you likely have never thought about, but which are crucial to find out what your company is really about, why you do what you do, who your target audience is and how you want to engage with them.
Branding is a very personal and emotional experience with the goal to attract and retain the right people to your products and/or services - doing the correct research beforehand to build your strategy is therefore indispensable.
What tools and Programs do you work with?
I work with the full Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to design your brand identity:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe After Effects
This will ensure that I can provide you with the correct file format depending on the purpose of your requested project: web, print, etc.

Storytelling + Communications
No matter how great your brand and services may are, if your content isn't great, your website visitors will click away quite quickly. That's why your content needs to be inspiring and relevant to your audience. It will not only keep your users engaged but also has a great impact on your google search rankings. I will help you building a strong and sustainable content strategy to convey your message in the strongest possible way.
In a nutshell: Storytelling is about telling stories.
Stories have been around for a long time and have always been used as a way to communicate. It’s the creative way, to not only list facts or display plain information but instead to wrap the things you want to communicate to your audience in an engaging story, connecting it to a bigger context. Storytelling includes more than just words, photos, pictures, graphics and film are also part of it.
Why is storytelling important?
There are many benefits of using storytelling in your marketing strategy:
1. Stories are much easier to remember than simple facts. Think of it: when you studied, for example, history facts in high school for an exam, it was likely really hard to remember them by just constantly repeating them over and over again. However, when you think of a story around them, connecting the facts to a bigger context, it made things a lot easier.
2. Stories are enjoyable: Not only are stories easier to remember, they’re also overall easier to read. Just going through facts and plain information is often boring and not really engaging. However, think of your favourite book, where you couldn’t stop reading because the story was so thrilling and exciting. That’s how it should be with the stories around your business as well.
3. Stories increase the attention: This brings the above two points together. If something is easier to read and engaging, of course the attention span is going to be longer as well. In today’s world, where you only have a few seconds to impress your audience, to keep them interested and engaged, it’s even more important to capture your readers with exciting, engaging and relevant stories. And, if you use stories in a good way, you could even inspire people to take action, which is most likely your main goal.
How can companies and business benefit form storytelling?
Storytelling can be a powerful and effective communication tool in a business’ marketing strategy. The main goal is to attract the right customers and connect them with your brand as well as products/services, and ideally, inspire them to take action. Think of it like an ad in the television, rather than just listing the main facts, your product will be much more rememberable when it’s wrapped into an engaging story.
Telling a story can also be utilised when communicating with customers, helping you to share product information or introducing people to your brand in a more meaningful way.
Overall, storytelling helps you to gain your customer’s attention, making your business more personable and stand out from your competitors.
